Payment & Fees
What fees do you charge?
Shipping + $5USD per item.
What currency do you use?
As the items are purchased in the USA, we quote and invoice everything in US Dollars as we don't want to take risks on the exchange rate. An invoice will be sent through PayPal where you will be given the choice of PayPal or your card provider's exchange rate. We don't make a margin on the exchange rate.

To pay with PayPal you are not required to create an account. You are able to pay through their secure checkout from a personalised link we will send you.
Do I need to pay Duty Taxes?
On orders over NZ$1000 or on goods where duty is required. We will advise you of this.
How does Findsend.com make money?
We place a US $5 service fee on each order for our US based team to cover checking and labelling the goods, filling out international shipping documents, and arranging the goods to get to our US freight forwarder. On top of that, we pride ourselves on offering fair freight prices. We place a small margin on shipping, sometimes as little as rounding up. We also invoice in US dollars so we don't charge a margin on the exchange rate.

So, how do we make money? Our shoppers are seriously good at what they do, and with their local knowledge, sometimes they'll know where to buy exactly what you're after at a cheaper price. So, if they can find it at a cheaper price, then we will contact you, confirm you're happy for us to do this and share that saving with you. We reckon this is a win-win for both sides.

Depending on the size of the saving we share percentages based on the following:

Savings
US $30 or above, we take 40% of the saving as a commission.
US $30-21, we take 50% of the saving as a commission.
US $20 or below, , we take 60% of the saving as a commission.
Shipping
How much will freight cost me?
Freight rates can vary from product to product as they are calculated on both weight and size. In addition, cost can vary depending on capacity of the airlines, meaning from time to time there may be surcharges. This will be included on the invoice where the price will be final.

An estimated guideline is around US$10 per kg. Our shoppers will be able to quote your freight easily once they know the exact item you are after!
What is the estimated shipping time?
Shipping time will vary from product to product as your order has 2 shipping times to travel. First from the merchant to our US address, and second, from our US address to you in New Zealand. That said, we can confirm you will typically receive your order from our US address within 5-10 days.
Ordering & Returns
How do I ensure the right colour and size will be ordered?
Our shoppers will verify the item and your choice of size, colour, material, and any other specifications with you. They will then ask you to confirm your choice once they have found the item.
Can I order multiple products from the same shop?
We require a URL for the product you desire, therefore we treat each product as a single order. If you are ordering multiple of the exact same item, then we treat this as one order and you will be charged one service fee ($5 USD).
Can I return my order?
If the goods are NOT as ordered or faulty you sure can. Please contact us and we will get things sorted for you. If we have made a mistake, we will refund the money in full. However, if you have changed your mind on the item, then sorry to say, we cannot take the goods back.
What if I have an issue with my order when it arrives?

Can I be compensated for lost or damaged goods?
Compensation may be considered if your parcel is damaged or lost after it has been received by our freight forwarder in LA.

If compensation applies, we will pay the lesser of the following:
  • Value or declared value of the item as determined by us
  • Cost of repairing the damage
  • $2,000 NZD
What happens if the item price changes between confirmation and payment?
We will do our best to move as quickly as possible on current and special prices, however, online shopping prices can change in an instant and we cannot guarantee that price. If you have paid us for a special/discounted price and the sale/offer has expired when we go to purchase the item, we will offer you a new price or a full refund.
What happens if the item goes out of stock between confirmation and payment?
On the chance this may happen, we will search for stock elsewhere and offer you a new price from a different store or a full refund.
What happens if the item is backordered by the merchant?
Is this case, we will offer you the opportunity to wait for stock to arrive and be sent, or a full refund.
Can you 100% guarantee product legitimacy?
Absolutely, yes!
